KEEP GYMS OPEN SAFELY
All health and safety protocols follow those recommended by the CDC, state of California and Monterey County Health Department guidelines.
POLICIES AND MITIGATION PROCEDURES
Small group sizes and stable cohorts. No mixing of groups.
Students and staff will have their temperature checked before entering and will sign off on a Covid-19 symptom screening each day. Any student or staff member with a fever above 100.4, who has experienced any symptoms or who has been in contact with someone with Covid-19 will not be permitted to enter the facility or attend class.
All students (over the age of 2) and staff members must wear a face covering. The garage and back door will remain open at all times to allow airflow throughout the building. Note: We understand if our toddler/preschool students are not able to wear their mask through the entirety of the class, however they must have one.
ENTRANCE & EXIT
Students will enter the building at our front door. Pick-up will be through our garage door at the other end of the building unless the front door is clear.
Hand sanitation stations are set-up throughout the facility. Students and staff will sanitize hands when entering and throughout the camp/class.
Each student must bring a refillable water bottle each day. Water fountains have been disabled, however refilling stations are available.
Our programs are formatted to allow for physical distancing between students and staff members as much as possible. The facility is clearly marked with colored tape lines as well as other mat and fencing barriers.
Spotting will be kept at a minimum. Staff members will sanitize hands regularly throughout the class.
Equipment and high touch areas will be cleaned/sanitized each day. High-touch areas will be cleaned between classes.
Make-ups are not being offered at this time in an effort to keep groups stable.
Parents are not permitted to enter the facility at this time in an effort to reduce the numbers of persons inside. At the time being, viewing will be permitted from our garage door and the large windows at the front of the building. Parents must wear a face covering and keep social distance during drop-off, pick-up and when viewing.
Outdoor viewing will not be available when the space is needed for our outdoor classes and when the outdoor tent is installed.
